To help Louisville "go green and clean" this fall, volunteer at the Brightside Community-Wide Cleanup on Saturday, November 7th, 8 AM to NOON.
To Participate in the Nov. 7 Cleanup:
Groups can register online at
www.brightsideinc.org or call MetroCall 311 or 574-5000. Brightside will provide free t-shirts (first come, first serve - limited supply), bags and gloves to volunteer groups as well as coordinate trash collection. Individuals can also call and be placed with an established group.
Supply Pickup for the Cleanup:
Pre-registered teams will join Mayor Abramson and Terry Meiners at the Cleanup Supply Pick-Up on Saturday, Oct. 24th, 10 AM, at Louisville Slugger Field.
The Community-Wide Cleanup is made possible thanks to the generous support of the UPS Foundation, Kentucky PRIDE Fund and Brightside donors. Trash collection is sponsored by Louisville Metro Solid Waste Management Services.
